About Me!

Hi, I’m Ari, and it’s so nice to (virtually) meet you!

I’m a New Englander that loves to travel and visit new places, even it’s something as simple as a new restaurant in the same town I live in.

Besides traveling, I also love to read. I believe reading is a great way to go on various types of adventures without even having to leave your house. With reading, you can have adventures that you’d never dream of having, or that wouldn’t be possible in the real world. You can fight dragons, fly, solve mysteries, travel through time—you name it, you can do it. Reading opens the doors to adventure in a whole different way. A way that doesn’t involve planes, trains or automobiles, but instead, only your imagination

There are so many amazing travel blogs out there that cover the most grand adventures from backpacking around Europe, or going on an African safari. But one of the reasons I started this blog is because I wanted to document the smaller adventures as well. The trips to the new restaurant in town, five minutes down the road. The apple orchard that’s a forty minute drive away. I wanted to inspire people to explore their cities, their towns, and their surroundings. Sometimes, there are fun and interesting places right under our nose that we overlook simply because it’s close to home.

That’s not to say you won’t find any trips to Europe on this blog, or even any trips that involve travel by planes, trains, or automobiles (or even bus! 😆). I wanted to document all of my adventures, from big to small to literary and everything in between.

This blog will be a place to document and share adventures—whether they’re physical or literary—as well as post tips, tricks, and reviews of the places I visit and the books I read. But I also hope that it’ll help to build a community of travelers, book lovers, and adventure seekers that love going on a literary journey as much as they love hopping on a plane.

Thanks for visiting my blog, and don’t forget to go out and find some sort of adventure today!
